Firat Sezgin

Fırat Sezgin is a producer working in Film and in New Media with a background in producing feature length films as well as documentaries. After graduation from Emerson College (2011) with a BA in Producing for Film, he returned to Istanbul where he worked in different positions in various productions. In his last five years in Istanbul he joined the largest Turkish studio BKM, where he worked in national and international licensing & distribution as well as more than 20 co-productions. He co-founded Institute of Time to work on his independent projects. Apart from film his biggest passion is music. He is a drummer by birth and a so-so piano player. He takes pride in his very international record collection. He now resides in Netherlands.

Deniz Tortum

Deniz Tortum works in film and new media. His work has screened internationally, including at the Venice Film Festival, SxSW, Sheffield Doc/Fest, True/False and Dokufest. His last film Phases of Matter premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam this year. He was recently featured in Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film.

Ecegul Bayram

Ecegül Bayram is a producer with a passion for social sciences and genre fiction. She holds a BFA in Film & TV from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a minor in Politics. Apart from her work at the Institute, Ecegül has directed personal projects and worked as a production designer on several award-winning short films. When not creating or consuming films, Ecegül enjoys reading modern world literature, trying out recipes from Asian cuisine and listening to Trad jazz.
